SEA BUS 1 (ΣΗ ΜΠΑΣ 1)

-Ionian Sea Ferries

Built in 2018 (age 7). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: None (laid-up in Zakynthos)

The small high speed boat SEA BUS 1 was built in 2018 in Greece, for the Greek company Ionian Sea Ferries, which is based in Kefalonia. She was introduced on the company's service linking the port of Argostoli with the port of Lixouri in Kefalonia via the Argostoli Gulf on the Ionian Sea, thus becoming its first-ever passenger-only ship to operate there. Her debut season ended prematurely due to an engine failure, but she returned to service in 2019 after being repaired in Salamina. In 2020 she was laid-up in Kefalonia, and, despite undergoing a refit in Aktion in 2022, she did not resume service. In 2024 she headed to Zakynthos, where she continued her lay-up. Her future remains uncertain.
