SAMI STAR II (ΣΑΜΗ ΣΤΑΡ ΙΙ)

-Sami Star Cruises

Built in 2006 (age 19). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Kefalonia-Ithaca

The small passenger ship SAMI STAR II was built in 2006 in Greece, as the NAUTILUS for the Greek company Captain Vangelis Special Cruises, also known as Kefalonia Cruises. She performed daily cruises on the Zakynthos-Kefalonia-Ithaca line on the Ionian Sea, while also serving several well-known beaches in Kefalonia. Her services were then complemented by those of the larger MYRTOS (today the MYKONOS SPIRIT of Delos Tours-Mykonos Sea Bus), which joined the company in 2009. In 2017 she was sold to the Greek company Sami Star Cruises, which is also based in Kefalonia. She was renamed SAMI STAR II and she replaced the company's previous ship, namely the wooden passenger ship SAMI STAR I. She remained on cruises based in Kefalonia, as she focused her operations on the Kefalonia-Ithaca line.
