SALAMIS EXPRESS I (ΣΑΛΑΜΙΣ ΕΞΠΡΕΣ Ι)

The small passenger ship SALAMIS EXPRESS I was built in 1996 in Greece, for the Greek company Salamis Expresss. She began service on the Piraeus-Salamina line (rserving the ports of Kamatero and Paloukia). She stayed there until 2000, when she was transferred to the Perama-Salamina line. She kept operating there along with her fleetmate, namely the SALAMIS EXPRESS III (today the NEFELI of Speed Service Waterbus), for the next 16 years, until she returned on the Piraeus-Salamina line in 2016 (serving the port of Selinia), whereupon she replaced the BOB SFOUGKARAKIS of Kavouris Shipping Company which was deployed on the Perama-Salamina line. She returned once again to the Perama-Salamina line in 2019. She was laid-up in Salamina in 2020.
