NIKOLAOS CH (ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΣ Χ)
-Panormitis Marine Enterprises
Built in 1989 (age 35). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Rhodes-Symi
The small passenger ship NIKOLAOS CH was built in 1989 in Greece for the Greek company Panormitis Marine Enterprises which is based in Rhodes. She was deployed on the Rhodes-Symi line on the Dodecanese, where she has spent her entire career so far. She performs daily excursions to Symi and most notably to the Panormitis Monastery. She underwent a small conversion in 2011 in Perama, during which she acquired a bulbous bow. She underwent an even larger conversion in 2015, again in Perama, during which her aft section was lengthened and her stern was remodeled, while a new outdoor sun deck was built. In 2023, during her annual refit in Perama, she acquired a third main engine, which has enabled her to sail at higher speed levels.
