The landing craft MICHALAKIS III was built in 2017 in Greece, for the Greek company Gavanozis Shipping. Being the company's first newly-built ship since 2010, she was deployed on the Agia Marina-Nea Styra line on the Petalioi Gulf. In late 2021, and from late 2022 until early 2023, she operated on the Lavrion-Karystos line in order to transport components of wind turbines that were due to be installed in Southern Evoia, together with the PANAGIA PARAVOUNIOTISSA of Deligiannis Ferries. In 2024, following the arrival of her newly-built fleetmate, namely the KAPETAN ARISTEIDIS II, she was deployed on the Glyfa-Agiokampos line on the North Evoian Gulf, operating under the Edipsos Ferries-Glyfa Ferries joint venture which includes her company, Aidipsos Shipping and Farmakoris-Villiotis NE.
