The high speed catamaran MAGIC 1 was built in 2023 in Indonesia, as the MAJESTIC JOY for the Singaporean company Majestic Fast Ferry, being one of many sister ships that were delivered to the company as part of their fleet renewal plan. She was deployed on the Singapore-Batam line, thus linking Singapore with Indonesia via the Singapore Strait. In 2024 she was sold to the Greek company Magic Sea Ferries and she was renamed MAGIC 1. She became the first ship of the company to operate on the Saronic Gulf, as she was deployed on the Piraeus-Northern Aegina-Hydra line (serving the port of Agia Marina in Aegina). Her introduction to service was deemed satisfactory, and it resulted in her company deploying two larger high speed catamarans previously owned by Majestic Fast Ferry, namely the MAGIC 2 and the MAGIC 3, which began service in 2025. That same year, after being prevented from operating on the Sporades, the MAGIC 1 was chartered to the Maltese company Gozo Fast Ferry, being renamed YOUR MAGIC.
