KONSTANTIS (ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΗΣ)

-Thessaloniki Waterbus (2017-2022)

Built in 1999, scrapped in 2022 (age 23). Was registered in Piraeus.

The small wooden passenger boat KONSTANTIS was built in 1999 in Greece for the Greek company Apostolou Shipping. She was deployed on the Piraeus-Salamina line, where she remained until 2013. In 2014 she was sold to Thessaloniki Waterways, which was created in order to reintroduce small passenger ships on the Thermaic Gulf. She was therefore deployed on the Thessaloniki-Peraia-Neoi Epivates line. In 2017 she was transferred together with the small passenger ship AGIOS GEORGIOS to Thessaloniki Waterbus, and they were both deployed on the Thessaloniki-Neoi Epivates-Peraia line. In 2022, right upon completing her seasonal service on the Thermaic Gulf, she was destroyed by a fire while undergoing her annual winter refit in Thessaloniki. She was declared a constructive total loss and she was scrapped on the spot, thus ending a 23-year-long career in Greece.
