-Sea Dreams
Built in 1989 (age 35). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Rhodes-Symi
The high speed catamaran KING SARON was built in 1989 in Australia. She was delivered as the AEGEAN EXPRESS to the Greek company Karakostas Shipping, and she operated on the Heraklion-Santorini line. In 1999 she was sold to the Rhodes-based company Sea Dreams and she was renamed KING SARON. She was deployed on the Rhodes-Marmaris line, hence connecting the largest island of the Dodecanese with Turkey. She was laid-up in 2009 in Rhodes following the start of the Greek financial crisis, but she was reactivated in 2011 and she returned to the Rhodes-Marmaris line. In 2020 she moved to the Rhodes-Symi line.
