KERKYRA (ΚΕΚΡΥΡΑ)

The landing craft KERKYRA was built in 1993 in Greece, as the AVRA for Avra NE. She began her career on the Aegion-Agios Nikolaos Phokidos line on the Corinthian Gulf. After three years there, she was sold in 1996 to the Greek company ANETH Ferries and she was renamed THASSOS V. She was deployed on the Kavala-Thassos line, where she remained for 16 years. In 2012 she was sold to Kerkyra Lines and she was renamed KERKYRA. She underwent a small refit in Amaliapolis before being deployed on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu-Paxoi line on the Ionian Sea. Since 2020 she has been operating exclusively on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu line.
