The landing craft KAPTAN STAVROS was built in 1979 in Greece, for the Greek company Kaptan Stavros NE. She began operating on the Arkitsa-Aidipsos line on the North Evoian Gulf, where she went on to become a very successful ferry. In 2000 she joined the Aidipsos Ferries joint venture, which included her company, Evoïkos Lines, Gavanozis Shipping and Aidipsos Shipping. In 2007 she moved to the Glyfa-Agiokampos line, where she stayed until 2009. In 2010 she was deployed on the Rion-Antirrion line, where she went on to stay for 12 years. In 2022 she was introduced on the Megara-Salamina line.
