The small passenger ship KAPETAN DRIMITRIS was built in 2011 in Greece, by the Greek company Anthoulis Cruises (which is based in Kos), which used the remnants of the keel of a former yacht named AVE MARE. Upon the completion of her construction, the KAPETAN DIMITRIS was deployed on the Kos-Nisyros line on the Dodecanese, while also becoming the company's flagship. She also performs occasional excursions to Symi and to Astypalaia during the summer.
