HELLAS (ΕΛΛΑΣ)
-Antiparos Speedline NE
Built in 1976 (age 48). Registered in Nafplion. Current line: Antiparos-Despotiko
The small passenger boat HELLAS was built in 1976 in Greece as the TAXIARCHIS of Salaminiotiki NE. She belonged to a generation of many small passenger ships that were built for service on the Saronic Gulf from the 1960s to the late-1970s called 'Koulouriotika'. She began service on the Piraeus-Salamina line, where she stayed until 1995, whereupon she was transferred to the Corfu-Paxoi line on the Ionian Sea. In 2012 she was sold to Peloponnissos Cruises, was renamed HELLAS, and was deployed on the Nafplion-Tolo-Koilada line on the Argolic Gulf. She was sold in 2017 to Antiparos Speedline NE, in order to replace the company's departing ship, the HERMES (now known as the PETROULA of Sporades Lines). She was deployed on the Paros-Antiparos line. In 2019 she was deployed on the Antiparos-Despotiko line.
