The landing craft GRIGORIS M was built in 1967 in Greece, as the ARIS of the then-newly-established Greek company Psomas Shipping. She was deployed on the Oropos-Eretria line on the South Evoian Gulf, where she operated for 35 years. In 1990 she underwent an extensive conversion in Perama, during which she was lengthened and her bridge was remodeled. In 2002 she was sold to the Corfu-based company GM Shipping and she was renamed GRIGORIS M. She was deployed on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu-Paxoi-Ereikousa-Othonoi-Mathraki line on the Ionian Sea as a Ro-Ro carrier, transporting various lorries and goods mainly for Corfu, but also for Paxoi and the Diapontian Islands.
