The small conventional ferry EVDOKIA was built in 1995 in Japan, as the FERRY MISHIMA for the Japanese company Sakito Shosen. She was deployed on the Sasebo-Sakito-Ejima-Hirashima-Tomosumi line on the Sasebo Bay. She remained in this service for 24 years, until she was replaced by a newly-built fleetmate, namely the MISHIMA, in 2019. That same year, she was sold to the Greek company Kerkyra Lines and she was renamed EVDOKIA. She arrived in Greece in 2020, and underwent an extensive conversion in Amaliapolis and then in Chalkida, and in 2021 she began service on the Corfu-Ereikousa-Mathraki-Othonoi lifeline, thus serving the Diapontian Islands on the Ionian Sea,.
