The traditional sailing passenger ship CAPTAIN LEFTERIS was built in 1963 in Greece, for the Greek tour company Santorini Sea Excursions. She has spent her entire career on the Santorini-Nea Kameni-Palaia Kameni-Thirassia line, being one of the many traditional wooden boats to transport tourists around the well-known Santorini Archipelago on the Cyclades.
