-Kerkyra Seaways
Built in 2001 (age 22). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Igoumenitsa-Corfu-Paxoi
The ferry AGIOS SPIRIDON was built in Greece in 2001 for the Thassos-based company ANETH Ferries. Initially known as the THASSOS VI, she was deployed on the Kavala-Thassos line. After three successful years, she was converted from a landing craft to a conventional ferry in Perama in 2004, and subsequently returned to Kavala-Thassos line. She grounded off in Thassos in 2012, but was quickly repaired and returned to service. In 2015 she was sold to the Corfu-based company S&L Ferries, being traded for the AGIOS PANTELEIMON which joined ANETH Ferries. The THASSOS VI was renamed AGIOS SPIRIDON and began operating under the North West Ferries I brandname on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu-Paxoi line on the Ionian Sea, where she remains today. Since 2018 she operates under Corfu Ferries joint venture, which includes her company and Gerontakis Shipping. Her company was rebranded as Kerkyra Seaways in 2019.
