The landing craft AGIOS GERASIMOS II was built in 1990 in Greece for the company ANEM Ferries, as the OLYMPIOS APOLLON. She was deployed on the Samos-Fournoi-Ikaria-Leipsoi-Kalymnos-Western Kos line, where she remained for the next 22 years. In 2012 she was sold to the Lebanese Delegation to the United Nations in order to operate as a transporter of Lebanese military supplies. She was renamed CAROLYN and was deployed on the Beirut-Naqoura line. She maintained that role until 2016, when she returned to Greece, having been sold to the Kefalonia-based company Lixouri NE, which is part of the Taxiarchis joint venture that includes the companies Ionian Sea Ferries, Ionion P Lines and Kefalonia Ferries. She was renamed AGIOS GERASIMOS II, was converted in Perama, and, after one year of refit, she was deployed on the Kefalonia-Ithaca-Lefkada line. In 2020 she was deployed on the Kefalonia-Ithaca-Astakos-Lefkada line.
