The landing craft AGIOS GERASIMOS was built in 1984 in Greece, for the Greek company Ionian Sea Ferries, which is based in Kefalonia. She has spent her entire career linking the port of Argostoli with the port of Lixouri in Kefalonia via the Argostoli Gulf on the Ionian Sea, a service which she has now been performing for 41 years. She operates under the Taxiarchis joint venture on the Ionian Sea, which includes her company and Ionion P Lines.
