The small high speed boat THIRASSIA II was built in 2010 in Greece for Thirassia Shipping, as an additional ship on the Santorini-Thirassia line (the other being the landing craft NISSOS THIRASSIA of Thirassia Lines, which had already been operating since 1995). Built in the prototype of the local modern little high speed boats, she is essential to the daily connection of Thirassia with the larger and more popular Santorini.
